GRANITE SLABS for custom fabricatION

Granite is undoubtedly the most popular stone type used in countertop applications today and still the most popular choice for kitchen countertops and due to their higher stain resistance compared to marble. They also hold fair esteem as a green option since they can last a lifetime, contain no harmful chemicals and do not emit harmful radiation or gasses. These stones are some of the hardest of the countertop stones, offering high levels of resistance to abrasion, scratching. The primary minerals in granite are resistant to almost all chemicals commonly found in a home. Granite countertops are significantly heartier than marble but still require some level of care and maintenance. Occasional sealing with an easy-to-apply product is recommended & available at Terra Tile & Marble. The likelihood of needing repair or resurfacing remains very low.

The first step is to visit one of our two showrooms – in Briarcliff Manor, NY in Westchester County or in Fishkill, NY in Dutchess County. You will meet with one of our designers to go over your project and select the appropriate material. An appointment will be made for you to see the actual slabs at our nearby Millwood shop. Understand that unlike the manufactured quartz, natural stone slabs such as marble, granite and quartzite have variations in color and vein patterns. No two slabs are ever alike.
